INTERDYNAMICS, INC. provides psychiatric
evaluations. The psychiatric
evaluation determines the student's current emotional status (i.e.,
mood, affect, thought processes) and need, if any, for psychotropic
intervention. DSM-IV diagnoses should be given if student is
found to have a mental disorder and/or emotional/behavioral
disorder.
The psychiatric
evaluation consists of a psychiatric interview and includes such
information as presenting problem, personal, developmental and
background information, physical and behavioral observations, mental
status examination and educational implications, diagnostic
impressions and recommendations.
